SV	En dit zeg ik tot uw eigen voordeel; niet opdat ik een strik over u zou werpen, maar [om u te leiden] tot hetgeen wel voegt, en bekwaam is, om den Heere wel aan te hangen, zonder herwaarts en derwaarts getrokken te worden.
Steph	τουτο δε προς το υμων αυτων συμφερον λεγω ουχ ινα βροχον υμιν επιβαλω αλλα προς το ευσχημον και ευπροσεδρον τω κυριω απερισπαστως
Trans.	touto de pros to ymōn autōn sympheron legō ouch ina brochon ymin epibalō alla pros to euschēmon kai euprosedron tō kyriō aperispastōs

Alex	τουτο δε προς το υμων αυτων συμφορον λεγω ουχ ινα βροχον υμιν επιβαλω αλλα προς το ευσχημον και ευπαρεδρον τω κυριω απερισπαστως
ASV	And this I say for your own profit; not that I may cast a snare upon you, but for that which is seemly, and that ye may attend upon the Lord without distraction.
BE	Now I say this for your profit; not to make things hard for you, but because of what is right, and so that you may be able to give all your attention to the things of the Lord.
Byz	τουτο δε προς το υμων αυτων συμφερον λεγω ουχ ινα βροχον υμιν επιβαλω αλλα προς το ευσχημον και ευπροσεδρον τω κυριω απερισπαστως
Darby	But I say this for your own profit; not that I may set a snare before you, but for what [is] seemly, and waiting on the Lord without distraction.
ELB05	Dies aber sage ich zu eurem eigenen Nutzen, nicht auf daß ich euch eine Schlinge überwerfe, sondern zur Wohlanständigkeit und zu ungeteiltem Anhangen an dem Herrn.
LSG	Je dis cela dans votre intérêt; ce n'est pas pour vous prendre au piège, c'est pour vous porter à ce qui est bienséant et propre à vous attacher au Seigneur sans distraction.
Pesh	ܗܕܐ ܕܝܢ ܠܥܘܕܪܢܟܘܢ ܗܘ ܕܝܠܟܘܢ ܐܡܪ ܐܢܐ ܠܐ ܗܘܐ ܡܚܢܘܩܝܬܐ ܪܡܐ ܐܢܐ ܠܟܘܢ ܐܠܐ ܕܬܗܘܘܢ ܐܡܝܢܝܢ ܠܘܬ ܡܪܟܘܢ ܒܐܤܟܡܐ ܫܦܝܪܐ ܟܕ ܠܐ ܪܢܝܢ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܒܥܠܡܐ ܀
Sch	Das sage ich aber zu eurem eigenen Nutzen, nicht um euch eine Schlinge um den Hals zu werfen, sondern damit ihr in allem Anstand und ungeteilt bei dem Herrn verharren könnet.
Web	And this I speak for your own profit; not that I may cast a snare upon you, but for that which is comely, and that ye may attend upon the Lord without distraction.
Weym	Thus much I say in your own interest; not to lay a trap for you, but to help towards what is becoming, and enable you to wait on the Lord without distraction.
